We are really looking forward to working with everyone at Maddalena’s CheeseCake again this year on our Cub Scout Pack’s cheesecake fundraiser. This will be my second year managing the sale for our Pack.
Your fundraising process is very straightforward; the spreadsheets are easy to understand and use, determine our profits at the end of the sale, as well as distribute to our families. As a busy working mom with other volunteer responsibilities, I truly appreciate the ease of the process. Our Pack loves the fact our fundraiser supports such an amazing local business. Your delicious cheesecakes and pies are easy to sell and they freeze and travel well. I have family as far away as North Carolina who have begun to ask when they can purchase and receive their cheesecakes; traveling family members are ready and willing to transport!
During our first sale (pre-pandemic) your very friendly delivery person brought the more than 350 cheesecakes and pies to our meeting place. He helped us unload and meticulously count them to ensure our order was complete. Last fall, the pandemic prevented us from accepting delivery of our order at same place, but you were able to create a perfect solution to our problem.
We encourage a little friendly competition amongst our Cub Scouts. Our top sellers get to throw whipped cream pies at their Den Leaders. We included a photo of the adults from the last time we did this (pre-pandemic of course). The kids and adults (ok – maybe just the spectators) love this.
Thank you again for all you do to make our fundraiser such a success. The proceeds help our Pack subsidize annual dues and fund over all Cub Scout programming including camping and awards.
